Overview/Fluctuations:
Per RMLS Market Data for the Portland Metro Area, June 2019:
- There were 4,281 New Listings in June 2019 which was down 5.2% from June of 2018’s 4,515, and a whopping 12.7% from the previous month/May’s 4,902.
- At 2,756 June 2019’s Closed Sales were also down at 6.4% under June 2018’s 2,946, and 7.2% increase over the previous month/May 2019’s total of 2,969.
- June 2019’s Pending Sales (accepted offers), at 3,083 were up a tiny bit at 0.8% over June of 2018’s 3,059, but down 6.3% from the previous month/May 2019’s total of 3,292.
- The Average Sale Price in June 2019 of $472,700 rose only slightly at $300.00 over last year/June 2018’s $472,400, and was up just $1,500 from the previous month/May 2019’s $471,200.
- The “Median” Sale Price (the price smack dab in the middle of all sales) in June 2019 of $420,000 was up modestly from last year/June 2018’s $417,900 by $2,100, and exactly the same as the previous month/May 2019’s $420,000 .
